BATTLE

Battle Basics

Battles are based on the card game President (known as "Daifugo" in Japan; also called "Scum" in some regions). Play cards to reduce your opponent's HP — the first to reach zero HP loses. Each match has up to 15 rounds (sets).

Card Combinations Become Attacks

  • Single (1 card) — Basic attack dealing the card's ATK
  • Pair (2 same numbers) — Double-strength strike
  • Triple (3 same numbers) — Even stronger triple strike
  • Straight (3+ consecutive) — Piercing damage from a run
  • Flash (5 same suit) — Massive same-suit damage
  • Full House (3+2) — A balanced offensive-defensive formation
  • Straight Flush (5+ same-suit run) — A top-class ultimate move
  • Revolution (4 same numbers) — Card strength inverts! Weak cards become strongest

Damage Formula

Damage equals the total ATK of played cards minus the opponent's DEF. The damage multiplier rises each round, so jabbing early and finishing with big moves late is effective.

Round Damage Multipliers (approx.)

  • R1-R3: 0.15-0.22x (feeling out, organizing your hand)
  • R4-R7: 0.27-0.50x (mid-game tactics)
  • R8-R11: 0.62-1.00x (the decisive phase)
  • R12-R15: 1.10-1.50x (final battle — every hit is critical)

Five Stats

  • ATK — Base damage when you play cards
  • DEF — Reduces incoming damage
  • HP — The combined HP of your whole deck is your max HP
  • DEX — Affects hit accuracy
  • AGI — Affects dodge rate

SPECIAL COMBO

Special Combos

Special bonus effects trigger from combining card "tags" and "hands". Unlocked after clearing World 10.

What Are Tags?

Trait labels each character carries — 25 types like STRONG / FIRE / DEFENDER / SNIPER. Higher rarity unlocks more tags (N=1, SR=2, SSR+=3).

Activation

When you play cards, if every character in the combination collectively meets all of a combo's required tags, it triggers automatically.

BATTLE TIPS

Battle Tips

Core Tactics

▼ Hand management decides the match

Dumping strong cards early leaves you stuck late. Since the multiplier climbs from 0.15x at R1 to 1.50x at R15, play small cards early and save your aces for later.

▼ Passing isn't losing

Passing grants Charge +1, raising your damage multiplier. Combo limits also unlock as rounds pass, so buying time by passing lets you use bigger combos.

▼ Read the eight-cut choice

Early to mid-game, build power with Charge +1. When your HP is low late, hang on with the 10% heal — recovery from R12 on is a lifeline.

▼ Timing your revolution

Four of a kind triggers Revolution, making low ranks (2-5) strongest and activating reversed skills. Watch for the opponent countering with their own revolution.

Suit Strategy

▼ Pick suits to counter the boss

• Aggro boss (♠) → tank with ♣ Club (DEF ×1.4)
• Bulky boss (♥) → rush with ♠ Spade (ATK ×1.3)
• Disruptive boss (♦) → outlast with ♥ Heart (HP ×1.4)
• Ironwall boss (♣) → stabilize with ♦ Diamond (90% passive)

▼ Build to enable Flash

The 5-same-suit Flash is powerful. Keep 5+ of one suit to enable it, but don't over-stack — you'll make Straights harder. Balance matters.

Item Tactics

▼ Save Truesight Lens for late game

Guaranteed hits matter most in high-multiplier late rounds. R8 onward is recommended.

▼ Time Phantom Shift to the opponent's big move

Use it on rounds where they're likely to unleash a Flash or Straight Flush to dodge it all — but their Truesight Lens will pierce it.

▼ Steal their trump with Rouse Swapper

It's luck-based, but stealing their ace can flip the game. The stolen card becomes yours to use.

▼ Plan around Capricious Amp

Draws a Joker into your hand — prep for a wild combo or a Capricious next set. Can't be used if you already hold a Joker.

▼ Ambush with Accel Hack (forced revolution)

Used when the opponent is hoarding high ranks, it wrecks their plan. Best when you hold many low-rank cards.

Advanced Deck Building

▼ Build tags around special combos

Check the "Combo" tab in deck building to see which tag combos trigger. Deliberately including characters with matching tags raises your combo rate.

▼ Rank up with a plan

Rank-up items are scarce. Prioritize your core deck characters. N→R is cheap, so promoting early stabilizes your power.

▼ When you lose, review your deck

Checklist:

  1. Are your characters high enough level?
  2. Is your suit matchup right?
  3. Can you play a Flash? (5+ of one suit)
  4. Are you spending all your BP?
  5. Do your combinations trigger special combos?
